OUR CASTING – GREY CAST IRON & DUCTILE IRON
Our foundry produces small, medium and high-volume series for customers of various sectors with a unit weight of 1 – 300 kg and an annual capacity of 8.000 tons. Percentage of grey cast iron EN-GJL is about 65 %, that of ductile iron EN-GJS is about 35 %. Below we shall introduce the difference between grey cast iron and ductile iron.
CAST IRON WITH FLAKE GRAPHITE
A standardized material defined by the European Standard DIN EN 1561. In cast condition of this material, the major proportion of carbon is mainly present in the form of lamellar graphite.
MATERIAL LIST – SERIES PRODUCTION
- EN-GJL-150
- EN-GJL-200
- EN-GJL-250
- EN-GJL-300
- EN-GJL-350
- Customized special materials
CAST IRON WITH NODULAR (SPHEROIDAL) GRAPHITE
Cast iron with nodular graphite is an iron-carbon material with carbon being present in form of nodular graphite particles. It is also referred to as ductile iron and has excellent mechanical characteristics as well as high resistance.
MATERIAL LIST – SERIES PRODUCTION
- EN-GJS 400-15
- EN-GJS 400-18 LT
- EN-GJS 400-18 RT
- EN-GJS 500-7
- EN-GJS 600-3
- EN-GJS 700-2
- EN-GJS 800-2
The quality GJS-SiMo is used for the application of castings at higher temperatures (above 700 Celsius) considering mechanical and temperature-dependent characteristics.
CASTING TECHNOLOGY
- Computer-aided gating and feeding technology
- Solidification simulation
- 3D-measurement
The ATOS Compact Scan defines a new class of scanner for 3D measurement and inspection. The lightweight, compact construction opens new application areas and ensures ultimate adaptability for 3-dimensional measuring of components such as casted and injection molded parts, forms and models, interiors, prototypes, design models, etc.
